Gratiot House

The Neighborhood

The Gratiot House is nestled into a peaceful classic neighborhood of working family homes with old-time churches on each corner. The Gratiot House is directly across the street from the No. 6 Gratiot bus which takes you downtown in 15 minutes, and is a short walk to the No. 8 bus, which takes you to midtown in 30 minutes. The Gratiot house is bikeable to many Detroit attractions: Downtown, Eastern Market, Dequindre Cut, The Detroit Institute of Arts, Heidelburg Project, and Historical Museum, and all these attractions are also less than 30 minutes by bus. The Gratiot house also has a full fleet of bikes for rent during your stay.
